The
Architect’s Birdfeeder Company, LLC was founded by
Doug Patt and Brian Witlin. Doug Patt, the architect and
entrepreneur who designed The Architect’s Birdfeeder,
is a registered architect who has worked in the field for
almost 15 years. Doug specializes in high-end residential
architecture and has been published in a variety of professional
journals and magazines. He has worked on projects that have
received American Institute of Architects and Builders Awards
in residential architecture. He has architecture degrees
from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree
in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his architectural training, Doug is Co-Founder
of RootPhi, LLC a new product development company. He is also
an accomplished artist and painter who has sold his artist
prints throughout the country. Doug’s experience in architecture
and his enthusiasm for product development have given birth
to the Architect’s Birdfeeder. The Architect’s
Birdfeeder is fun to put together and creates an elegant architectural
object for your yard by virtue of its clear interlocking structural
elements. The Architect’s Birdfeeder comes in a
low impact small box, packs flat for efficient shipping, and
requires no tools or fasteners for ease of assembly. These
qualities also make the birdfeeder easy to clean and refill. The
Architect’s Birdfeeder is also made from the same material
as bullet proof glass which makes it very durable for season
to season enjoyment.
It is Doug and Brian’s hope that they can share this
object of beauty and function with your backyard habitat; wherever
that may be. You can see more of Doug and Brian’s work
